Universal Avionics Systems Corporation (UASC) Radio Control Unit (RCU) received
FAA TSO C-113 authorization on April 27, 2004. The RCU provides the pilot with a
single easy to read display employing simple bezel mounted controls. .
- Features:
- Controls for VHF COM, VOR/ILS navigation, DME, ADF, ATC Transponder, and TCAS
systems.
- Allows up to twelve pilot-settable preset frequencies for NAV, COM and ADF as
well as rapid access to Com Frequency 121.50 and ATC code 7700.
- When interfaced to a UASC Super FMS, the FMS will function as a back-up tuning
source, as well as providing the RCU with up to six suggested frequencies.
- Supports the Commercial Standards bus as well as the Aeronautical Radio,
Incorporated (ARINC) Characteristic 429 interface standards
- The Universal Avionics Systems Corporation RCU provides a cost effective way for
operator’s to complete their cockpit update programs by consolidating multiple
control heads into one tuning control that is easy to read and operate.
